For a few years we
have been using a small well-selected part of our grapes to make DOC
wine, cultivated for 24 years on a hilly field facing south-east at an
altitude of 350 a.s.l.
We produce around 3,000 bottles of Trebbiano d'Abruzzo "Poggio Rahone"
and 4,500 bottles of Montepulciano d'Abruzzo "San Zopito".
IL
MONTEPULCIANO D'ABRUZZO "San Zopito" is a ruby
red wine with a purple shade. It has a velvety and tannic flavour that
goes well with red meats, game dishes and well-aged cheeses.
IL TREBBIANO
D'ABRUZZO "Poggio Rahone" has a pale yellow
colour, and a dry and harmonic taste. Suitable for light cookng it
goes well with fish dishes.
